Tonight’s pre party for the IndieWeb Summit was great! Always excellent to see people offline and break bread (or pizza!) over a people-centric Web.

When I was promoting the last Homebrew Website Club on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/JamieTanna/status/1138339357121744897 ), a friend of Craig's tweeted to mention to him about it. We then spent a couple of days talking about it - and boom, Craig is now running his own Homebrew Website Club on 18th July ( https://getdoingthings.com/homebrew-website-club-barnsley-1/ ).Last night Craig posted this great post about joining the community and with some great explanations for newbies. It looks like I will be speaking at IndieWeb Summit! Specifically, I’ll be giving a keynote about how to “Own Your Mobile Experience”.
As a long-time enthusiast for these tiny computers we carry, I try to make most of the things I can do online into things I can do on my phone or tablet. That turns out to be… a lot of things.
I’ll probably keep the technical details light, other than naming specific IndieWeb building blocks that each piece relies on. I plan to make a (set of?) ...
