Barely getting started with #IndieWebCamp Day 2, and already got two new things working: 1) WebRTC on my website! http://aaronparecki.com/talk (thanks to some great sample code from @adambrault) 2) Better presentation of POSSE'd notes to Facebook (great find in the Facebook API by @willnorris!) #indieweb

At tonight's homebrew website club, I hacked up a #microformats2 parser into #selfoss! http://aaronparecki.com/uploads/selfoss_-_example_microformats-2_parsing-20140212-212928.png I suppose the next step is to add a reply interface using IndieAuth and MicroPub so I can reply inline!

Thanks to @snarfed_org, http://brid.gy is now sending retweets, which prompted me to improve the #webmention handling in #p3k. Now showing proper repost and rsvp counts on posts! Examples: * http://aaron.pk/e4SJ1 * http://aaron.pk/n4TH1

Great work getting webmention set up and your content marked up with microformats! At the moment of the method is built around a POSSE architecture. This works well for long form articles which can stand alone but address issues or ideas that are posted on an external website. The evidence is against you here, as almost all known usage of webmention has been for short replies which don’t make sense without context. But if that is all there is to webmentions it is just a nicer implementation of Pingback
